Blue sheep Pseudois Nayaur photography trip to Chaqingsongduo

Blue sheep (Pseudois Nayaur, in Chinese "Yanyang"), the bharal or Himalayan blue sheep, Pseudois nayaur, is a caprid found in the high Himalayas of Nepal, Tibet, China, India, Pakistan, and Bhutan. Blue Sheep or Pseudois nayaur is listed on the IUCN Red list (1996). It has characters intermediate between the sheep and the goats, Bharals are found at altitudes of 3600 m to 5000 m and feed on the rich and abundant grass on the alpine meadows.

In China, it distributes in Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai, Xinjiang, and Gansu Yunnan province.

To tracking watching the blue sheep, we arrange photography trip to Chaqingsongduo nature reserve (photography trip), Helanshan nature reserve, Sanjiangyuan area in Yushu (Nangqing and Zhiduo county). To Chaqingsongduo please view  Chaqingsongduo Chugqênsumdo nature reserve (for blue sheep and white lipped deer).
